EFI India is hiring Engineering Graduates for the position of Production Specialist for Bangalore location
Job Description
Eligibility :
- BE/ B.Tech (CS/IT/IS) from 2016-2017 batches with an aggregate of 60% and above in throughout academics.
Introduction :
Electronics for Imaging (EFI) is looking for production specialists. The production specialist will be responsible for handling the production, publishing of user documentation and online help for Fiery User Assistance group based out of IDC, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Additionally, the production specialist will also support localization efforts for user assistance for the entire gamut of EFI products.
The production environment at EFI consists of XML/DITA, Live Content Architect CMS, Frame Maker, Acrobat Professional, and Adobe Creative Suite. Expertise with these tool is required.
Main Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the quality of output for content deliverables (PDF, HTML).
- Coordinate delivery of source files, resources, and instructions to localization vendor.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with Frame Maker, PDF, XML, and HTML.
- Coordinate production schedules to ensure on time delivery of content in support of product releases.
- Coordinate localization schedules, project tracking, and vendor coordination and vendor support.
Required Skills :
- Demonstrated experience with the mechanics of producing and delivering a variety of content types in a fast paced, high-tech publishing environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Focus on quality and details.
- Ability and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.
- Self-organized and good planning skills and ability to effectively handle schedules and vendor interactions.
