Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification Skills (Must Have Skills):
- Masters/Bachelor of Engg/Science degree in Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene or related field with practical experience gained while in college or personal initiatives. Strong English communications skills in both written and verbal. Good interpersonal skills, problem solving/analysis & leadership skills.
Preferred Qualification Skills (Nice to Have Skills):
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in planning, project management and program implementation
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and relationships with senior management
- Strong working knowledge of EHS business systems and compliance program requirements
- ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001/ISO45001/NEBOSH certified
- Computer literacy in word-processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software packages
- Fire safety certification from reputed Institutes.

- We are seeking to hire for a passionate and energized Environment health and Safety Engineer to drive and manage EHS programs and processes for Intel India as it moves thru newer projects, program upgrades and into a sustaining mode.
- The candidate should have a good understanding of the EHS disciplines.
- The successful candidate will need to have technical competence and the ability to influence others.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Inform and lead stakeholders for EHS compliance (OSHA, all local legal regulation), update regulation changes and meet compliance requirements.
- Coordinate for completing the Intel specific EHS programs.
- Managing the Management of change Process for newer projects.
- Managing safety and industrial Hygiene programs such as Control of Hazardous Energies, Electrical safety, Confined space, Fall Protection Hazards, fire safety and contractor safety programs, chemical safety, Non Ionizing & Ionizing radiation safety, Personal protective equipment, hazard and risk assessment for processes, Construction Safety, permit to work systems.
- Conduct EHS training for the stakeholders.
- Assisting the site management on maintaining the EHS documents, preparing for site EHS audits(internal and external) & implementing control of documents.
- Support emergency planning and preparedness; Coordinate for fire drills, evacuation maps, safe assembly, coordinating and auditing the emergency preparedness at site.
- Gap analysis and tracking of EHS compliance needs, preparation & submission of returns and applying for renewals/amendments to different regulatory authorities (Pollution control board, Fire and emergency services authorities, PESO etc.,)
- Reporting and Investigating incidents to prevent its recurrence
- Coordinating for roll out of road shows and programs to encourage building EHS culture in sites.
- Validation of the sustainability indicators & submission.
