Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Daily Inspections: Conduct routine safety rounds, equipment checks, and work permit monitoring (e.g., hot work, working at heights).
Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to local labor, environmental laws, and ISO standards (like ISO 14001).
Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis for accidents, injuries, or near-misses and log corrective actions.
Training & Drills: Lead safety inductions for new hires, daily toolbox talks, and periodic emergency evacuation mock drills.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of safety statistics, waste disposal, and statutory audit records.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related engineering field.
Certifications: Preferred credentials include NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA safety certificates.
