Job Description
Overseeing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance throughout all phases of the VGO
MHC Revamp Project.
Implementing and monitoring HSE plans in accordance with statutory and client-specific
requirements.
Conducting regular safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to ensure a zero-incident
work culture.
Coordinating with contractors and internal teams to maintain high HSE standards and resolve
on-site safety issues.
Preparing daily/weekly HSE reports and presenting findings to the project management and
client
Oversight of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices across all project phases.
Implementation of safety management systems in accordance with national and international
standards.
Risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits to ensure compliance and continuous
improvement.
Coordination with EPC contractors, PMC team, and client representatives for HSE integration in
project execution.
Training and awareness programs for site personnel on safety protocols and emergency
preparedness.
To implement the project HSE management system at the design stage by preparing a tailored
project design HSE Plan.
To organize and participate in all relevant site HSSE Meetings, prepare the relevant MOM.
Lead and coordinate the activities of the Site HSSE Committee (composed by all CONTRACTOR
and SUBCONTRACTORs HSSE Representative)
Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team,
organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.
Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSSE Plan and all related procedures, to the
evolution of the Project.
Conduct Weekly/Monthly HSE review meeting with EPC/Client.
Conduct HSE Management walkthrough/Audits/Inspections and monthly HSE performance
evaluation.
