Job Description
Position :E&I Autocad Designer
Work Location: Chennai
Experience Level: 1 to 5 years
Educational Qualification: Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation.
Job Description:
÷ Review of enquiry documents to understand project requirements and scope.
÷ Develop technical proposals in alignment with project scopes and specifications.
÷ Ensure P&IDs adhere to project specifications and requirements.
÷ Possess knowledge of hazardous area classification and selection of instruments and electrical components for area classification.
÷ Basic knowledge in field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments.
÷ Develop the data sheets, instrumentation indexes, I/O lists, alarm and trip lists, and hookup drawings.
÷ Generate and manage requests for quotations (RFQs) for field instruments and electrical panels.
÷ Proficiency in estimating manifold, tube, and tube fitting requirements with various installation method.
÷ Cable, cable gland and cable tray selection and estimation.
÷ Knowledge of Junction box segregation and selection procedures.
÷ Experience in motor starter/control panel selection and design.
÷ Basic knowledge with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) & Remote Terminal Units (RTUs),
