Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design and Development
-
Design and develop electrical and electronic circuits and systems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs.

Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or Eagle.

Select components and materials that meet design requirements, considering factors such as cost, durability, safety, and performance.
2. Testing and Validation
-
Build prototypes and conduct rigorous testing of circuits, devices, and control systems.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in hardware designs using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and signal generators.

Perform simulation and validation of systems using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or PSpice.
3. Embedded Systems and Programming (If Applicable)

Program microcontrollers and embedded systems (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi).

Develop firmware/software using languages such as C, C++, or Python for device control and automation.

Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.).
4. Installation and Maintenance

Oversee the installation of electrical systems and ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, systems, and components.

Maintain accurate technical documentation and records of system modifications and test results.
5. Compliance and Safety
-
Ensure designs meet regulatory standards such as IEC, IEEE, BIS, or local electrical codes.

Participate in risk assessments and implement safety features to protect users and equipment.

Adhere to environmental, health, and safety protocols during design and implementation.
6. Project Support and Collaboration
-
Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and production departments.

Assist in preparing project documentation, including specifications, bill of materials (BOM), user manuals, and reports.

Contribute to cost estimation, feasibility studies, and project timelines.
