About Planys Technologies Private Limited
Planys Technologies is an IIT Madras incubated startup company that provides immersed robotic inspection and survey solutions using indigenously manufactured submersible remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROV) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV). Founders of the company are recent IIT Madras alumni and faculty from mechanical engineering. We aim to cover the whole breadth of automated inspection solutions starting from customized design and fabrication of robotic platforms to integrated sensing and diagnostics. We span under the domain of marine robotics combining various inspection techniques and post-inspection analysis tools.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working on PCB designing
2. Working with electronic components, equipment, and sensors
3. Working with power converters and motor controllers
4. Working with microcontroller systems (AVR, ARM, etc.)
5. Programming in embedded systems

Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 28th Jul'20 and 1st Sep'20
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Familiarity with any PCB designing software
2. Familiarity with electronic components, testing, and measuring equipment
3. Familiarity with power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC), motors, & associated drives (DC, BLDC, stepper, etc.)
4. Familiarity in AC systems, power transmission, wiring of MCB, RCCB, contactors, relays, etc.
5. Familiarity with micro-controller systems (Arduino, ARM, etc.) and familiarity with their programming
