Key Responsibilities:Cost Analysis & Estimation: Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specs to estimate time, material, labor, and equipment costs. Collaboration & Coordination: Liaise with clients, vendors, project managers, and internal departments (production, accounting) for information and issue resolution. Proposal & Reporting: Prepare budget estimates, progress reports, cost tracking, and client-facing proposals/quotations. Value Engineering: Conduct studies to find cost-effective solutions and meet budget constraints. Data Management: Utilize estimation software, maintain cost data, and research new industry materials/methods. Vendor Management: Float inquiries, compare supplier quotes, and negotiate technical/commercial aspects. Essential Skills & Qualifications:Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in estimation software and understanding of engineering drawings (CAD).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of specific industry standards (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Interior Fit-outs).Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
