Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Development
-
Design electrical systems and components, such as power generation systems, control systems, and lighting systems, according to specifications and industry standards.

Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts for various projects.

Select electrical equipment and components based on performance, cost, and environmental impact.

Ensure that all electrical designs comply with safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Integrate electrical systems with other systems, such as HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing, to ensure seamless project execution.
2. Project Management & Coordination
-
Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
-
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure that electrical systems are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Prepare project timelines, budgets, and progress reports for internal and client review.
-
Ensure projects are completed within the specified budget, scope, and schedule.
-
Troubleshoot design, installation, and operational issues, ensuring effective solutions are implemented quickly.
3. Testing & Troubleshooting
-
Conduct tests on electrical systems and components to ensure functionality, safety, and performance.
-
Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in existing systems, providing recommendations for improvements or repairs.

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components to prevent failures and extend system lifespan.

Review data from testing and suggest improvements or modifications as needed.
4. Documentation & Reporting
-
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, such as electrical schematics, user manuals, operation manuals, and maintenance schedules.

Produce regular progress reports, technical assessments, and cost estimates for senior management and clients.

Document and track project milestones, change orders, and project-related communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
5. Compliance & Safety
-
Ensure that all electrical systems comply with local and international electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Monitor electrical installations to ensure that safety protocols are followed, and all equipment is installed correctly.

Implement and enforce quality control measures during electrical system installations.
-
Keep up to date with industry best practices and evolving technologies, ensuring your designs meet or exceed the latest standards.
