Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Meter Technician to join our team. As a Meter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing various types of utility meters, including electric meters. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all meters are functioning accurately and efficiently, providing reliable data for billing and usage analysis. You will work both independently and as part of a team, often traveling to different locations to perform on-site services. Key duties include reading meters, troubleshooting technical issues, replacing faulty components, and documenting all work performed. You will also be expected to interact professionally with customers, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns they may have. Safety is paramount in this role, as you will be working with electrical and mechanical equipment, sometimes in challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
