Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits, wiring systems, and industrial machinery, such as conveyors, motors, and automation systems.
Respond to electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical components and systems.

2. Installation & Commissioning:

Install new electrical systems and equipment, including motors, circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and wiring.
Assist in the commissioning of new machinery or electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.
Perform electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and load testing, to ensure safe and efficient operation.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and components to reduce breakdowns and ensure system longevity.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical circuits, equipment, and installations to detect early signs of wear and tear.
Utilize predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., thermal imaging, vibration analysis) to identify potential electrical issues before they cause significant failures.

4. Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and standards, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), arc flash protection, and confined space procedures when working with electrical systems.
Maintain and update records for maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Ensure that all electrical systems meet regulatory and local safety standards, such as NEC, IEC, or IECEx standards, as applicable.

5. Technical Support and Documentation:

Provide technical support for troubleshooting electrical issues to other team members, including mechanics, engineers, and operators.
Create detailed reports for electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment replacements.
Keep maintenance logs, record downtime, and track performance metrics related to electrical systems.

6. Equipment Upgrades and Modifications:

Assist in the upgrade and modification of existing electrical equipment to improve performance or efficiency.
Work with engineering teams to implement new electrical technologies or innovations to enhance operations.
Provide input on necessary upgrades or modifications to improve electrical system reliability and energy efficiency.
