Key Responsibilities

• Accurately check dispensed prescriptions against the original prescription.

• Ensure the correct medicine, strength, quantity, dosage, and labeling are supplied.

• Identify and resolve dispensing errors or discrepancies.

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy staff with prescription processing.

• Maintain accurate patient and medication records.

• Follow pharmacy procedures, legal requirements, and quality standards.

• Assist with stock management, including ordering, receiving, storage, and expiry-date checks.

• Communicate with pharmacists, doctors, patients, and other healthcare professionals when necessary.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data-protection requirements.

• Contribute to medication-safety and continuous-improvement activities.
