Job Overview:
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in compliance with safety standards and project specifications. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance:

    • Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
    • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and regulations.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical plans.

  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in systems and equipment.
    • Replace or repair faulty wiring, fixtures, and components.
    • Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.

  • System Upgrades:

    • Upgrade electrical systems to meet new codes or accommodate additional equipment.
    • Install energy-efficient systems or components as required by project goals.

  • Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, and protocols during installation and maintenance.
    • Identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards on-site.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system tests.
    • Communicate progress and challenges to supervisors and project teams.
