Job Description
Role Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, and panels.
-
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and required adjustments or repairs.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
-
Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing devices and rectify issues promptly.
-
Maintain power supply systems, including generators, UPS, and lighting systems.
-
Coordinate with vendors or contractors for major electrical works when required.
-
Maintain records of electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
-
Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns as and when required.
-
Ensure proper housekeeping of electrical rooms and work areas.
