Job Description
Internship Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and tech-savvy Electronics and Computer Interns who are passionate about robotics and enjoy working with young minds. This internship involves assisting faculty in conducting robotics classes for school children, supporting hands-on sessions, and maintaining technical kits. You will play a key role in troubleshooting electronics, assembling robots, planning activities, and managing both theory and practical components of the course.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in electronics, computers, robotics, and STEM education. The role blends technology, teaching, teamwork, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Assistance:

Support faculty during robotics training sessions by preparing and setting up teaching materials.

Help manage classroom logistics, student participation, and timekeeping during sessions.

Provide one-on-one guidance to children as they work with robotics kits and computers.
2. Hands-On Support:

Assist students in assembling and programming robots as part of the learning curriculum.

Help troubleshoot issues related to wiring, sensors, microcontrollers, and mechanical parts.

Supervise safe usage of robotics kits and ensure all components are used properly.
3. Electronics & Soldering:
-
Perform basic electronics tasks such as soldering wires, components, and small PCBs for kits.

Assemble, test, and repair robotics kits or educational tools as needed.

Maintain and manage inventory of components including resistors, sensors, wheels, batteries, and boards.
4. Coordination & Planning:
-
Help plan and coordinate weekly robotics lessons and STEM activity schedules.

Assist in curriculum planning for theory and practical sessions, under faculty guidance.

Participate in planning competitions, exhibitions, or demo days for student presentations.
5. Teaching Support:

Assist in explaining basic theoretical concepts like circuits, sensors, motors, microcontrollers, and programming logic to students.

Conduct small-group demonstrations or basic introductory lessons as directed.

Help students debug simple code (using platforms like Arduino, Scratch, or Blockly).
6. Kit Management & Packing:

Ensure kits are complete, charged, and ready before each session.

Help pack, transport, and organize teaching kits and hardware before and after sessions.

Keep track of kit components and report any damage, loss, or requirement for replacement.
7. Monitoring & Reporting:

Observe student progress and provide feedback to lead faculty.

Maintain student attendance and activity logs (if required).

Submit weekly reports on class performance, technical issues, and equipment usage.
