Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Setup:

Install, test, and configure new electronic systems, devices, and equipment, ensuring they are properly calibrated and operational.

Set up components according to specifications and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Collaborate with engineers to integrate electronics into larger systems or machinery.
2. Maintenance and Servicing:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of electronic systems to ensure their continuous and optimal performance.

Regularly inspect and clean devices and systems to prevent malfunction or deterioration.

Replace faulty components, such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits, with appropriate parts.
3. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic malfunctions using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.

Interpret schematic diagrams and blueprints to locate and resolve issues in circuits or wiring.

Use systematic troubleshooting techniques to identify the root cause of faults and devise appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with engineers to suggest modifications or improvements based on findings from troubleshooting.
4. Repairs and Replacements:

Repair or replace defective components and systems in electronic devices, ensuring they meet functional specifications.

Test repaired systems to ensure they are fully operational and meet performance standards.

Ensure proper calibration of equipment after repairs or modifications.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of electronic systems and devices to verify their functionality and reliability.

Record test results and prepare reports detailing the success or failure of the testing process.

Assist in the implementation of quality control procedures to guarantee that all systems meet regulatory standards and company guidelines.

Ensure all repaired equipment passes rigorous quality checks before being released for use.
6. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed.

Document the troubleshooting and repair processes, including parts used and time taken, for future reference.

Prepare detailed reports on the status of equipment, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.

Follow proper procedures for logging issues, repairs, and system failures in the maintenance management software.
7. Collaboration with Engineering Teams:

Work closely with engineering teams to implement improvements in designs or electronic systems based on feedback from maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Provide technical support to engineering teams during system upgrades or the introduction of new technologies.

Assist in prototype testing, evaluation, and the development of new electronic devices or systems.
8. Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety protocols to avoid accidents, particularly when working with high-voltage or sensitive equipment.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding electronics installation, maintenance, and repairs.
