Job Description
Expertise in IDBS software platform, particularly in understanding laboratory workflows, data structures, and functionalities to support research and development activities within technical development and manufacturing science scientific organizations. Key responsibilities may include data quality checks, report generation, user coaching, system configuration, and troubleshooting issues related to the IDBS ELN platform.
Key responsibilities of an ELN IDBS Analyst:
• Data Management:
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the IDBS ELN by performing data quality checks and validation procedures.
• Managing data entry processes, including data cleaning and standardization.
• System Administration:
• Configuring and maintaining the IDBS ELN system according to user needs and laboratory workflows.
• Managing user access levels and permissions.
• Implementing system updates and upgrades.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generating customized reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and trends from the ELN data.
• User Training and Support:
• Providing training to laboratory personnel on how to effectively use the IDBS ELN functionalities.
• Troubleshooting user issues and providing technical support.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborating with scientists and research teams to understand their data needs and implement appropriate ELN configurations.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding system updates, data quality issues, and reporting requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in IDBS E-WorkBook (or other IDBS ELN platforms)
• Knowledge of data management principles and practices
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows and scientific terminology
• Analytical Skills:
