We are looking for a Senior Embedded hardware engineer, your role will involve designing and developing wireless controls product portfolio for intelligent lighting and smart city infrastructure. You will join a team of talented colleagues (software, embedded, hardware) and external design partners, designing the next generation of innovative controls.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
• Review code and design
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Integrate and validate new product designs
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
• Provide post production support
• Interface with hardware design and development
• Assess third party and open source software

Required Skills

• Must have proven experience in IOT, PCB Designing.
• Must have solid programming experience in Python (Rasberry Pi) , Arduino, Embedded C.
• Familiar with tools such as Keil, MPLab.
• Should have knowledge in IOT.
• Strong knowledge in protocols such as CAN, I2C, UART and USART.
• Should have knowledge in PIC, ARM, Micro-controller.
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
• Experience with developing the required tooling for hardware production.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
• Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems.
• Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.
