Job Description
Come join the Atom8 firmware engineering team. We are looking for firmware engineers who “Love Engineering” primarily, who have “High Ownership” and would love to work on cutting edge new technologies.
You will get to work on our embedded firmware on both ESP 8266 and ESP32.
You will need to work closely with our hardware designers and engineers to ensure high compatibility between designed hardware and the software.
You will also work with our software team to ensure the firmware is backwards compatible with existing apps and voice interfaces.
Post these basic responsibilities you will also get to work on a very exciting roadmap for the year 2020 which involves Cutting Edge Engineering and Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence to build hardware which has inbuilt voice interfaces and digital signal processing. If you are looking for a place which is at the intersection of hardware, software and artificial intelligence then Atom8 is just the place for you.
Completed B.S./E. (or higher) degree in Computer Science/Engineering
Should have experience building on ESP8266, ESP32 or similar other embedded technologies
Should have experience writing very efficient code that would be highly computed and memory-optimized
Should have experience optimizing and ensuring stable operations and code that wouldn’t crash and reset the MCU for weeks and months
