Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Embedded Engineer Trainer to join our training and development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students or professionals in various embedded systems concepts, microcontroller programming, and real-time applications.
The trainer should have strong expertise in embedded system design, C/C++ programming, microcontrollers, RTOS, IoT, and hardware integration, along with the ability to deliver interactive and hands-on training sessions. The role also involves curriculum development, lab setup, student mentoring, and collaboration with industry experts to ensure the program remains updated with the latest trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery

Conduct interactive training sessions on embedded systems design, microcontrollers, IoT, and firmware development.

Deliver lectures on topics like C/C++ programming, RTOS, ARM Cortex, peripheral interfacing, and communication protocols.

Guide students through hands-on practicals, real-time projects, and hardware debugging.

Simplify complex embedded concepts using live demonstrations and practical examples.

Conduct classroom, online, and hybrid training sessions as per organizational requirements.
2. Curriculum Development

Design and update course materials, training modules, and lesson plans to align with industry needs.

Integrate the latest embedded technologies, tools, and methodologies into the curriculum.

Develop case studies, assignments, projects, and lab experiments for effective learning.

Ensure the curriculum matches industry certifications and placement-oriented training.
3. Mentoring & Student Guidance

Provide personalized mentorship to students for project guidance and doubt clearing.

Assist learners in developing capstone projects, IoT applications, and firmware solutions.

Offer career counseling and preparation support for interviews, certifications, and placements.

Motivate students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions, and technical events.
4. Lab & Tool Management

Set up and manage embedded system labs with microcontrollers, development kits, and hardware tools.

Provide training on commonly used tools like:

Arduino IDE, Keil, MPLAB, STM32CubeIDE

JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers

IoT development kits and wireless modules

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the lab environment.

Ensure students get hands-on exposure to real-time applications and debugging techniques.
5. Evaluation & Reporting

Conduct assessments, tests, quizzes, and practical evaluations to track student performance.

Offer constructive feedback and personalized improvement plans.

Prepare progress reports, placement readiness assessments, and skill-gap analyses.

Ensure continuous improvement in training delivery based on feedback.
6. Industry Collaboration

Stay updated on emerging trends in embedded systems, IoT, and automation.

Collaborate with embedded hardware companies and IoT solution providers to keep training relevant.

Arrange guest lectures, industrial visits, and expert sessions for students.

Support students in accessing industry projects and live internship opportunities.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills

Expertise in embedded system design, firmware development, and IoT-based applications.

Strong command of C, C++, and Python programming for microcontrollers and IoT.

Hands-on experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers like:

ARM Cortex-M series

PIC, AVR, and MSP430

ESP32, ESP8266, and Arduino-based platforms

Familiarity with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and Modbus.

Experience in RTOS (FreeRTOS, RTX, Zephyr) and embedded Linux environments.

Exposure to IoT platforms like Node-RED, ThingsBoard, AWS IoT, and Google Cloud IoT.

Knowledge of hardware interfacing, sensor integration, and wireless technologies.
