Job Description

Provide immediate medical care and treatment to patients with acute illnesses or injuries.

Perform rapid assessments, diagnoses, and stabilization of critically ill or trauma patients.

Manage emergency resuscitation procedures, including CPR, airway management, and shock treatment.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care and referrals.

Supervise and guide junior doctors, nurses, and paramedics in emergency settings.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all treatments and interventions.

Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards for patient safety and quality care.

Participate in regular training and updates on advanced emergency medical practices.

Administer life-saving interventions such as CPR, airway management, and defibrillation.

Perform emergency procedures like intubation, wound suturing, and fracture stabilization.

Manage patients with heart attacks, strokes, severe infections, and trauma injuries.

Decide whether patients require hospital admission, ICU care, or discharge.

Coordinate with ambulance services and critical care transport teams.

Ensure smooth handover of cases to relevant hospital departments.

Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and case histories.

Follow hospital protocols and legal guidelines for emergency care.

Participate in continuing medical education and training programs.
