Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for automated code testing and delivery. [1, 2]
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP) programmatically using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. [1, 2]
Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and scale applications using Docker and Kubernetes. [1, 2]
Monitoring & Observability: Implement logging and monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or the ELK stack. [1, 2]
Automation & Scripting: Write automation scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell to reduce repetitive manual tasks. [1, 2]
System Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis on production issues and reduce downtime. [1, 2, 3]
Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices and compliance checks directly into the deployment workflow. [1, 2]
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with major public clouds like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with automation servers and version control systems like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Git.
Container Tools: Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Scripting Languages: Strong coding/scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or Ruby.
Infrastructure Tools: Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Education & Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with 2-5 years of experience in systems administration, cloud, or software engineering
