Position: Engineer - SMT Manufacturing, This Position will directly report to Lead - SMT Manufacturing.

Purpose: *

Located at VEI, Chennai. This position will be responsible to manage SMT process for all SMT lines & to improve productivity & quality

Job Duties: *
Responsible for achieving the manufacturing metrics' target as set in the management objective OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) / FTT (First time through);Safety (Lost time cases)
Responsible for Hourly production monitoring, Manpower deployment for meeting the producton target,
Review of daily production plan and take required actions,
Ensure mfg line 5S & 3C, Analyze the production line losses of previous day and take actions,
Monitor scrap and take actions & Deliver the plan for the day,
Monitor line quality ( FTT), Understand the breakdown and seek for prevent occurence.
Must be able to demonstrate a HANDS-ON approach in SMT processes: Screen Printing, Chip Shooters, Reflow Ovens, Fluxer, Selective Soldering, Optical Inspection equipment's.

Job Requirements: *

Bachelor degree in Engineering (Full time) with 7 to 10 years of experience in Automotive electronics industry Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, SMED & TPM is desirable
