Engineer - Testing Jobs in Chennai - KONE
Job Description
- Work with the development team to design test plans, detailed test cases, test Environment and execute the test plan to verify the product requirements in ongoing and new product development programs.
- Develop EMI/EMC, HALT Test plan for Elevator and Escalator products and coordinate with third-party lab to execute the test and prepare the test reports.
- Analyse the Test data, prepare the detailed test reports and recommend the solutions to resolve issues detected in testing.
- Perform failure analysis and experiments to determine root cause of product failures and drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
- Work to improve the test method and measurement capability of the laboratory.
- Work to automate the component testing.
- Maintain 5S Safety work culture in laboratory.
- Strong Electrical and Electronic Component knowledge
- Ability to read an electrical schematic and understand its function.
- Experience in electrical component testing, measurement and automation
- Experience in developing test benches for integrated product testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must have hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Electronic loads, Logic analyzer, Data Acquisition, Programmable AC source, etc. )
- Knowledge inTest automation programming (NI Test stand/Labview/PLC)
- Knowledge in Statiscal and Reliability software tool (Minitab/Reliasoft)
- Familiarity with standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- B.E EEE/ECE/EI
- 3 years of related test and verification work experience preferred
