Job Description
Designation: Engineer
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation with Six to Ten years of experience in Valves Applications, as an Application Engineer. Preferably experience in Oil & Gas Industry / Power Industry.
Computer Skills:
The incumbent should have knowledge of the following software:
· MS word
· MS Excel
· Powerpoint presentation
· Sizing, Selection & Quote Preparation for Valves. Interact with customers to obtain precise process data
· Make precise Cost Estimates for Valves
· Analyse both Technical & Commercial Data
· Make Quotations for Domestic Customers including filling up of data sheets and technical summary
· Attend technical discussions with customers (on a need basis) and make presentations at seminars
· Interact with Actuator & other ancillary manufacturers and arrive at the best cost automated solution
· Technical Assistance in order entry & assembly of Valves
· Interact with design and initiate product improvements to meet customer expectations on automation solutions
· Convincingly reply to both technical and commercial queries
· Prepare order processing sheet, after receipt of order to advise factory for the manufacture
· Keep records on quotations & orders and Provides a report on a monthly basis
· Update knowledge base on valves Technology
