Position Overview
Ambitious Career Academy, a reputed coaching institute in Koparkhairane, is seeking a highly competent, fluent, and passionate English and Social Science Teacher to handle 8th to 10th grade ICSE & CBSE students. This is a part-time teaching role, ideal for educators who have excellent command over English, in-depth subject knowledge, and effective teaching methodologies.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and result-oriented lessons in English Literature, English Language, History, Civics, Geography, and Social Studies, ensuring that students build conceptual clarity, strong communication skills, and academic confidence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Lesson Delivery

Prepare and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in English and Social Science for classes 8th to 10th.

Explain concepts clearly using real-life examples, visual aids, and student-friendly methods.

Teach grammar, comprehension, essay writing, and literature for English as per ICSE & CBSE patterns.

Cover history, civics, geography, and social studies topics comprehensively.

Ensure students understand core concepts, not just memorize answers.
2. Syllabus & Exam Preparation

Plan the yearly, monthly, and weekly syllabus based on ICSE & CBSE curricula.

Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with board examination requirements.

Conduct regular tests, assignments, and mock exams to evaluate student progress.

Guide students in solving previous years’ question papers and improving writing skills.
3. Student Mentorship & Support

Provide individual attention to students to clarify doubts and strengthen weak areas.

Encourage students to improve their spoken and written English skills.

Motivate learners to develop analytical thinking and logical reasoning for social studies subjects.

Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment where students feel comfortable to participate.
4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Track student performance and maintain academic records.

Share regular feedback with students and parents about progress and areas for improvement.

Identify struggling students and design personalized learning plans.

Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator to improve teaching strategies.
5. Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities

Coordinate with the institute’s management regarding schedules, examinations, and events.

Participate in faculty meetings, academic discussions, and training sessions.

Assist in curriculum development and contribute innovative ideas to enhance teaching methodologies.

Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional ethics within the institute.
