Mode of Recruitment :Selection process will comprise two successive stages i.e online examination and interview. Online written test will contain 180 questions for Assistant Engineer & Environmental Scientist posts and 120 questions for Assistant (Junior Assistant) / Typist posts.
Selected candidates from the Online examination will be shortlisted for interview.
Fee Structure :Application fee is Rs 250/- for SC/ST/PWD and Rs 500/- for other candidates, to be paid through online mode by use of debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

The Tamilnadu Prevention and Control of Water Pollution Board was constituted by the Government of Tamilnadu on twenty seventh day of February, Nineteen eighty two (27-2-1982) in pursuance of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act 6 of 1974). The Board was later renamed as Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) in the year 1983. It enforces the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 .
