Job Description

Job Summary

The Event Helper plays a key support role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by assisting with setup, logistics, guest coordination, and post-event activities. They work closely with event organizers, vendors, and other staff to create a positive and well-organized experience for attendees. This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing demands during live events.

- Assist with event setup, dismantling, wiring, connections & follow senior technicians' instructions.

- Ensure cables are neatly managed & equipment is safely handled.

- Maintain event equipment & inventory, perform basic tests, & report issues.

- Work closely with video, lighting & audio tech teams.

- Assist with equipment loading, unloading, transportation, & be flexible with work timings.

Freshers are welcome.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Physical Skills

  • Ability to lift, move, and arrange equipment and furniture.

  • Basic knowledge of event logistics and setup procedures.

  • Familiarity with handling event tools, AV equipment, and décor items (preferred).

Soft Skills

  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with different teams and vendors.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and polite interaction with guests and event staff.

  • Adaptability: Ability to handle last-minute changes and unexpected situations.

  • Time Management: Completing setup and tasks within given timelines.
