Executive Director / Deputy Executive Director /Advisor recruitment in NRHM Mumbai

1. Executive Director SHSRC, Pune /OPEN-1

Qualification: Ph.D./Post Graduate Degree in Preventive and Social Medicine / Public Health/ Paediatrics / Medicine / OBGY/ Biostatics / Demography

Experience: 1. At least 15 years of experience at Senior Position out of which for Doctors 5 Year at the level minimum of Deputy Director/Dean or equivalent post and for Public Health/Biostatistics and Demography at the level of Professor. Medical Person should have sound knowledge of Public Health Programs, Biostatistics. Statistician/Demographer should have at least 3 years experience in public health. 2. Published work in the area of health planning and programme review. 3. Computer proficiency and familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Office & Data Analysis Software’s. 4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Marathi. 5. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.

Pay Scale : Rs. 75,000/- + Rs. 15,000/- as other Allowance

2. Deputy Executive Director SHSRC , Pune /OPEN-1

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Preventive and Social Medicine or Ph.D. in Public Health /Biostatistics/ Demography

Experience : 1. At least 7 years Experience in Senior Position out of which for Doctors 3 year at the level minimum of Deputy Director/Dean or equivalent post and for Public Health/Biostatistics and Demography at the level of Professor. Medical person should have sound knowledge of Public Health & Biostatistics. Statistician/Demographer should have at least 3 years’ experience in Public Health. 2. Published work in the area of health planning and programme review. 3. Computer proficiency and familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Office & Data Analysis Software’s. 4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Marathi. 5. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.

Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000

3. Advisor Public Health SHSRC , Pune /OPEN-1

Qualification: Ph.D. in Public Health, MD in PSM or any other medical graduate with MPH / Post Graduation or higher qualification in community health

Experience : 1. Minimum of 7 years of post qualification work experience in the field of public health. 2. Work Experience in Government sector will be preferred. 3. Experience in working for Health Systems Research, Policy, planning and management of change in the health sector desired. 4. Published work in the area of health planning and programme review desirable.

5. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point; any database package is highly desirable.

6.Excellent communication and presentation skills, sound comprehension, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

7.Skills to build a network of professionals for providing technical assistance for health sector reform.

8. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi –disciplinary team environment.

9.Proven ability to design and conduct studies with published work or reports that have made significant contribution to the understanding or practice of public health.

Pay Scale : Rs. 70,000

4 Advisor Health Economics and Finance SHSRC , Pune/ OPEN-1 PhD. in Public Health / Healthcare Finance & Economics or in relevant area in Health or any other medical graduate with MPH /

Qualification: Post Graduation or higher qualification in health care financing

Experience : 1. Published work in the area of health systems or public health.

2. At least 7 years of post-qualification work experience in Health Systems Research or in Health Economics and Health care financing. 3. Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents. 4. Excellent Communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 5. Working knowledge of Marathi also desirable. 6. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. 7. Demonstrated experience in operational zing health program at field level/working in strengthening of district level health systems. 8. Willingness to travel to districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.

Pay Scale : Rs. 70,000

5. Senior Consultant (Policy & HR) SHSRC , Pune/ OPEN-1

Qualification: Any medical graduate with MPH with subject of Health Policy / Demography or Ph.D. (in above mentioned subjects)

At least 3 years’ experience in Public Health & Health Policy

Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000/-
