Sports Authority of India invites application for the position Executive Director
Name of the Post: Executive Director (Finance)
Pay Scale / Pay Matrix: PB 4 with Grade Pay Rs.8900/-(6th CPC) Revised to Pay Level 13 A (7th CPC)
Eligibility Conditions: Officers of the Government of India, State Governments, Autonomous Organizations / Statutory Bodies under Government of India / State Governments working on analogous post or with at least 02 years regular service in pay scale/Pay Band PB 4 with Pay Grade Rs.8700/-, revised to matrix 13 (7th CPC) OR at least 06 years regular service in GP Rs. 7600/- Pay Matrix level 12 (7th CPC) with Finance and Account background preferably with desired experience of sports / sports management.
Tenure: Initially for 03 years extendable by another 02 years
Age Limit: Age not exceeding 56 years as on the last date of submission of applications.

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), a successor organization of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982, was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act, 1860 in pursuance of the Resolution No. 1-1/83/SAI dated 25th January 1984 of the Department of Sports, Govt. of India with the objective of promotion of Sports and Games as detailed in the Resolution. It is also entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining and utilizing, on the behalf of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the following Stadia in Delhi which were constructed/renovated for the IX Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982
