Eligibility : He/she shall have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in relevant field and
considerable experience of working in meteorology/climate-science.
A proven ability in science management including winning external funding is essential and he/she should have demonstrated the ability to conceive, organize and manage interdisciplinary and international science activities and initiate and sustain international cooperation.

In case of exceptionally good candidate
having international experience /exposure the age can be relaxed up to 68
years.
The post is currently funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences, through Indian
Institute of Tropical Meteorology.
The consolidated salary of the Executive Director would be ` 80,000/- per month.
