Executive Engineer/ Specialist
(Ground Water)/ Assistant Executive Engineer job recruitment in Ministry of

Executive Engineer
No. of Posts : 2
Eligibility : Officers under the Central/State Governments:-
(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) with five years
regular service in the post in the scale of Rs. 8000-13500 (Prerevised) or
equivalent; or (iii) with six years regular service in the post in the scale of
Rs. 7500-12000 (Prerevised) or equivalent; or (iv) with eight years regular
service in the post in the scale of Rs. 6500-10500 (Prerevised) or equivalent;
and (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
(i) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) five years’ experience in applied Engineering in the field of Irrigation
and Water utilization and/or in the Surveys, Investigations, Design,
Construction, Operation and Maintenance and Monitoring of Water Resources
Projects/ works.
Pay Scale : Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700)
Specialist (Ground
Water)

Eligibility : Officers under the Central/State/
Governments:- (a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) with

Geology/Applied Geology/Hydrology or degree in Civil Engineering from a

of Ground Water Planning and Management and/or in the Surveys, Investigations,
estimation of re-charge, Withdrawals and Utilization of Ground Water, Ground
Water Balance and Ground Water Monitoring including Water Quality

Assistant Executive
Engineer
No. of Posts : 3
Eligibility : Officers under the Central/State Governments:-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or (ii) with two years
regular service in posts in the scale of 7500-12000 or equivalent; or (iii)
with five years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 6500-10500 or
equivalent; or (iv) with eight years regular service in posts in the scale of
Rs. 5500-9000 or equivalent; and (b) possessing the following educational
qualifications and experience:- (i) Degree in Civil Engineering from a
recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Three years experience in the field
of Irrigation & Water utilization and/or in the Surveys, Investigations,
Design, Maintenance of Irrigation Projects/works.
Pay Scale : Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500)
Design Assistant
No. of Posts : 4
Eligibility : Officers under the Central or State
Government:- (a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent
cadre/department; or (ii) with three years of regular service in the grade of
Rs. 5500-9000/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; or (iii) with six
years of regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 5000-8000 or equivalent
in the parent cadre/department; and (b) Possessing the following educational
qualifications and experience:- (i) Degree in Civil Engineering from a
recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Two years experience in the field of
irrigation and water utilization and/or in survey, investigation, design and
maintenance of irrigation projects/works.
Pay Scale : Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400)
Private Secretary
No. of Post : 1
Eligibility : Officers under the Central or State Government
or Union Territories administaration:- (a) (i) holding analogous post on
regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) with five years’
service in the stenographer grade in Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the Pay
Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. Note1- Period of
deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held
immediately preceeding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation/
Department of the Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. Note2-The
maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years
as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Section Officer

Eligibility : (a)Officers under the Central or State
Government or Union Territories administaration:- (i) holding analogous post on
regular basis in the parent cadre; or (ii) with five years’ service in the
grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-6
(Rs. 35400-112400) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or
department; and (b) possessing the following educational qualifications and
experience (i) Bechelors of degree from a recognized university or institute;
(ii) Three years’ experience in Administration or Establishment.

Draftsman
No. of Posts : 2
Eligibility : Officers under the Central/State
Government/Union Territories. (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis;
or (ii) Posts in the pay scale of Rs. 4000-100-6000 with not less than eight
years’ experience in the grade. (b) Possessing the following educational
qualifications and experience:- (i) Matriculation or equivalent from a
recognized board. (ii) Certificate or Diploma in Draftsmanship from a
recognized institute of not less than 2 years duration, including practical
training for six months. (iii) Practical experience of at least 1 year in the
line in an organization of repute after getting the diploma.
