Job Description
Position Overview:
The Executive - Hospitality is responsible for ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience for guests in a hospitality establishment, such as a hotel, resort, restaurant, or event venue. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, managing guest relations, coordinating staff, and ensuring that all services are provided efficiently and to the highest standard. The Executive - Hospitality works closely with various departments to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Services Management:

Guest Relations: Ensure that all guests are welcomed warmly and receive prompt, efficient, and personalized service. Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service by monitoring guest feedback, ensuring guest satisfaction, and implementing improvements where needed.

VIP and Special Guests: Manage relationships with VIP guests or high-profile clients, ensuring they receive special attention and tailored services.
2. Operational Management:

Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the hospitality establishment, ensuring that all departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage) function smoothly and efficiently.

Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the hospitality team, including front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurant servers, and other operational staff. Provide training, support, and guidance to staff members.

Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest areas and facilities, such as rooms, dining areas, lounges, and public spaces.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of supplies such as linens, toiletries, and food and beverage, ensuring items are restocked as needed.

Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations, as well as hygiene standards, are followed by staff to create a safe and comfortable environment for guests.
3. Customer Experience Enhancement:

Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of events, conferences, meetings, and special occasions held at the property. Ensure that all event requirements are met, from catering to room arrangements and audiovisual needs.

Feedback Management: Collect feedback from guests through surveys, in-person communication, or digital channels. Use this feedback to improve the guest experience and address any areas of concern.

Upselling and Cross-Selling: Work with the sales and marketing teams to promote additional services, packages, or upgrades to enhance the guest experience.
4. Staff Training and Development:

Training Programs: Implement and lead staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.

Motivation and Support: Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to ensure high employee morale and job satisfaction. Encourage staff development and career progression opportunities.

Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
5. Financial and Administrative Duties:

Budget Management: Assist in budgeting for hospitality services, ensuring that costs are controlled and profits are maximized. Track expenses related to guest services, staff salaries, and operational supplies.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times, such as weekends and holidays.

Reports and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on guest satisfaction, staff performance, operational issues, and financial performance. Present these reports to senior management.
