Job Summary
We are hiring for the position of Executive - Inside sales for a reputed showroom in your locality. The role involves handling walk-in customers, explaining the features and benefits of various products, sharing information about ongoing offers, and ultimately converting inquiries into successful sales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, is confident in communication, and has a passion for sales.
In addition to selling products, the candidate will also be responsible for cashier and billing-related activities, stock audits, and inventory maintenance. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the showroom and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement and Sales

Greet walk-in customers warmly and professionally.

Understand customer needs by asking relevant questions and listening attentively.

Explain product features, specifications, benefits, pricing, and available promotional offers clearly.

Guide customers in selecting the right products based on their requirements and budget.

Maintain a positive and engaging approach to ensure customer satisfaction.

Convert inquiries into sales through confident and knowledgeable communication.

Follow up with potential leads and repeat customers when necessary.
2. Product Knowledge and Demonstration

Develop in-depth knowledge of all products available in the showroom.

Stay updated with the latest arrivals, special offers, and discounts.

Demonstrate product usage if required and handle customer objections smartly.

Answer customer queries related to product functionality, comparison, warranty, etc.
3. Billing and Cashier Duties

Handle the billing counter efficiently and with attention to accuracy.

Operate billing software or POS system to generate invoices.

Collect cash, card, or digital payments and issue receipts accordingly.

Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and without errors.

Maintain daily cash and payment reconciliation at the end of the shift.
4. Stock Audit and Inventory Management

Participate in regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Report any stock discrepancies to the manager immediately.

Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor of low stock or fast-moving items.

Help in arranging and maintaining the product display shelves neatly and orderly.
5. Showroom Maintenance and Presentation

Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Assist in visual merchandising and product placements as per guidelines.

Handle product returns or exchanges as per company policy.

Maintain all safety and hygiene standards of the retail space.
6. Team Coordination

Work collaboratively with other sales executives and staff members to meet sales targets.

Attend briefings or product training sessions conducted by the company or showroom.

Assist colleagues during high customer footfall or peak sales hours.
Required Skills and Competencies
