Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced IT Technical Support Specialist who is fluent in English and has hands-on experience in:
· Cisco & Meraki Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi Access Points
· Fortinet VPN devices
· Windows 365 and Azure
· Windows Server Domain Controllers
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-User Support

Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, ticketing systems, or in person.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

Provide support for business applications including Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, VPNs, and security software.

Deliver professional and timely support with a focus on user satisfaction and problem resolution.
2. Systems and Hardware Management
-
Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.

Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure smooth operation and security compliance.

Maintain and support operating systems such as Windows 10/11, macOS, and occasionally Linux.

Set up new employee workstations, including software installation, user account configuration, and peripheral setup.
3. Network and Connectivity Support

Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues, collaborating with network engineers when necessary.

Monitor and resolve VPN-related access problems for remote users.
-
Ensure reliable network access across all departments, maintaining minimal downtime.
4. Account and Access Management

Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise platforms.

Maintain appropriate access levels for users based on job roles and security policies.

Assist with password resets, multi-factor authentication, and identity verification.
5. Documentation and Reporting
-
Maintain detailed documentation of support requests, solutions, and recurring issues using the company’s ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira).

Contribute to the development and updating of IT knowledge bases, FAQs, and training resources for users.

Provide input on areas of improvement and suggest preventative measures for common problems.
6. Security and Compliance

Assist in maintaining IT security standards including antivirus software, encryption protocols, and secure configurations.

Educate users on best practices for data security and phishing prevention.

Support the IT team in compliance initiatives, including regular system audits and patch management.
7. Technical Projects and Initiatives

Participate in company-wide IT projects such as hardware upgrades, software deployments, system migrations, and cloud integration.

Collaborate with other IT professionals on strategic initiatives and improvements to infrastructure or workflow.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies or solutions that align with business needs and industry standards.
