Job Description
Position Summary:
The Export Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new markets for exports, planning and
executing sales campaigns suited to each target country and current consumer trends, negotiating
sales terms, meeting sales targets, and troubleshooting any issues related to exports. This role is
crucial for driving international sales growth and ensuring smooth operations in the export process.
Key Responsibilities: • Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients and distributors. • Achieve export sales targets through effective negotiation and deal closure. • Prepare quotations, pricing, and contracts for international customers. • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. • Conduct market research to analyze global trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies. • Provide after-sales support and resolve client queries or complaints. • Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, or virtual meetings to promote products internationally. • Prepare regular sales reports and update management on business performance.
Qualifications: • Graduate or Post Graduate • Proven experience in export/import sales, business development, or international marketing (preferred). • Hands on experience in lead generation, prospecting and converting inquiries into sales. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP/CRM experience is an advantage. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Fluency in English (foreign language skills are an added advantage). • Willingness to travel for international business meetings and exhibitions.
