Factory Helper / Indoor Cleaner
Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated and physically fit Factory Helper / Indoor Cleaner to support the day-to-day operations of a biscuit and chips production facility. The role involves assisting machine operators, performing basic cleaning duties inside the factory premises, and handling the loading and unloading of raw materials and packed goods.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Assistance
-
Support machine operators and production staff in biscuit and chips manufacturing lines.

Help in feeding raw materials such as flour, oil, or potatoes into machines under supervision.

Assist in packing finished goods like chips packets or biscuit boxes.

Keep the work area around the machines clean and free of obstruction.
2. Loading and Unloading
-
Manually load and unload raw materials such as sugar sacks, potatoes, oil drums, etc. (maximum individual load: 50 kg).

Handle the stacking and movement of packed goods from the production area to storage or transport vehicles.

Use trolleys or pallet jacks to shift goods where required.

Ensure proper labeling and placement of goods as per instructions.
3. Factory Cleaning & Maintenance
-
Sweep and clean floors, work areas, storage spaces, and walkways to maintain hygiene.

Clean machines and equipment surfaces (external) as instructed by supervisors.

Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste is disposed of in the designated areas.

Follow factory hygiene standards, especially in food handling zones.
4. Safety & Compliance
-
Wear protective gear such as gloves, masks, and uniforms at all times during working hours.

Report any equipment malfunction, spills, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.

Comply with all food safety, factory hygiene, and worker safety guidelines.
5. Other Duties
-
Follow instructions from supervisors regarding daily tasks and shift responsibilities.

Assist during inventory counts or stock movements.
-
Cooperate with other team members to maintain workflow and cleanliness.

Be available for overtime during high-demand production periods or special dispatch schedules.
