Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assistance to Production Team:
-
Assist machine operators in feeding raw materials like sugar and potatoes into mixers, fryers, or conveyor belts.

Help in setting up machines for production runs by bringing necessary items to the production area.
-
Support in basic machine cleaning, wiping surfaces, or applying lubricants under supervision.
-
Transfer finished products from production lines to the packing area.
2. Loading and Unloading Duties:
-
Lift and move raw materials such as sugar and potatoes from storage to the production area.
-
Unload packed goods, such as cartons or bags of biscuits and chips, and place them on pallets or shelves.
-
Ensure proper stacking and handling of products to avoid damage or contamination.

Use trolleys, manual pallets, or hand carts where applicable to move heavy materials.
3. Cleaning and Hygiene Maintenance:
-
Keep the work area clean and organized according to food safety and hygiene standards.
-
Dispose of waste material like potato peels, packaging waste, and damaged cartons in the designated bins.

Sanitize equipment and workstations at the end of shifts or as instructed.
-
Follow company hygiene protocols, including use of gloves, masks, aprons, and head covers.
4. Stock Movement and Record Support:
-
Assist in maintaining raw material levels near machines during peak production hours.

Help warehouse or inventory staff by counting or segregating materials as needed.

Attach product labels, batch numbers, or production dates on packed items if assigned.

Inform supervisors when raw material levels are low or when loading tasks are complete.
5. General Factory Support:
-
Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor or Line In-Charge for daily duties.

Cooperate with colleagues across different departments like packing, maintenance, and warehouse.

Report any unsafe conditions, damaged goods, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.

Take part in periodic safety drills or training sessions organized by management.
