Job Description

Need factory Supervisor in charge of production, should have shop floor experience, will be in charge of purchases and material gen also, will have to travel from office to factory in Bhiwandi, responsible for vendor interaction with regards to purchases and also should have good Communication Skills to handle workers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Coordination:

Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in coordination with the production manager or operations head.
Allocate resources such as manpower, raw materials, and machinery effectively to meet production goals.
Adjust work schedules in response to delays, equipment malfunctions, or urgent production orders.

2. Team Supervision and Management:

Lead and manage a team of production workers, including machine operators, technicians, and helpers.
Assign tasks to workers and monitor their performance throughout the shift.
Provide training, instructions, and motivation to ensure efficient and safe operations.

3. Quality Control and Assurance:

Ensure that the products being manufactured meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify defects or inconsistencies in production output and take corrective action promptly.
Work closely with the Quality Control department to implement quality improvement initiatives.

4. Equipment and Machine Oversight:

Monitor the functioning of production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and report any malfunctions or repair needs to the maintenance team.
Ensure proper handling and usage of machines and tools by workers.

5. Inventory and Material Handling:

Ensure that raw materials and components required for production are available in the right quantity and quality.
Monitor usage and wastage of materials to maintain cost efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and coordinate with the stores or procurement team for timely replenishment.

6. Safety, Health, and Environment Compliance:

Enforce workplace safety rules and ensure that workers use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct routine safety checks and participate in safety drills or training sessions.
Address workplace hazards and ensure compliance with environmental and labor regulations.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain records of daily production output, workforce attendance, downtime, and equipment usage.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the Production Manager or senior management.
Document incidents, maintenance needs, or any irregularities in the production process.
