Basic Sciences

Astrophysics and Cosmology (DAC); (ii) Chemical Biological and MacroMolecular
Sciences (DCBMS); (iii) Condensed Matter Physics and Material Sciences (DCMPMS)
and (iv) Theoretical Sciences (DTS).
Qualification : Ph. D. with first class or equivalent (in
terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with
a very good academic record throughout. The candidate is expected to carry out
independent research and guide Ph. D. students. He / she is expected to publish
high quality research papers in peer -reviewed journals.
Experience :
Minimum 2 years research experience after Ph.D
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with grade pay of Rs.
6,600 (PB-3) [pre-revised]
Age Limit : 35 Years. (Relaxation in age will be applicable as per GOI norms)
