Job Description
- Hands on teaching experience in Interior Graphics.
- Should be able to take all the subjects of Interior Design.
- Plan and deliver in an effective manner in accordance with the curriculum.
- Design course material
- Monitor and maintain student morale and motivation.
- Monitor performance of students and render support as required.
- Assist with institute promotional activities.
- Should be good at Interior Designing concepts.
- Should be good in Theoretical and Practical aspects of the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Instruction:

Deliver engaging and structured lectures, studio sessions, and workshops on interior design subjects such as:

Space planning
-
Residential and commercial interiors
-
Design theory and aesthetics
-
Lighting and color theory
-
Furniture design
-
CAD, 3D modeling, and rendering
-
Sustainable design practices
-

Use a blend of teaching methods including lectures, presentations, group discussions, critiques, and hands-on projects.

Guide students through design projects from concept development to final presentation.

Evaluate student performance through assignments, design reviews, practical exams, and portfolios.
2. Curriculum Development and Planning:

Assist in developing and revising the interior design curriculum to align with industry standards and technological advancements.

Design course plans, lesson modules, and assessment methods that meet academic and accreditation requirements.

Ensure that course content integrates current trends, technologies, and sustainability practices in interior design.

Collaborate with department heads and academic committees to plan yearly academic schedules and subject distribution.
3. Student Mentorship and Academic Support:

Provide academic advising and mentorship to students regarding career paths, design portfolios, and internships.

Encourage creative thinking, research, and exploration of innovative materials and design techniques.

Offer personalized feedback and support to students to enhance learning outcomes and professional development.

Facilitate and encourage participation in design competitions, exhibitions, and workshops.
4. Industry Engagement and Collaboration:

Maintain strong connections with the design industry and keep abreast of evolving interior design practices and tools.

Organize guest lectures, industry visits, and live projects in collaboration with design firms, material vendors, or consultants.

Support student placements and internships by connecting with industry professionals and alumni networks.
5. Research and Professional Development:

Engage in academic research, design thinking, and scholarly writing in the domain of interior architecture and design.

Stay updated with the latest trends in design software, materials, and construction techniques.

Attend and present at academic conferences, design seminars, and faculty development programs.

Collaborate with peers on interdisciplinary research or innovation projects.
6. Administrative and Departmental Duties:

Maintain class records, attendance, grading, and student progress reports.

Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews, and institutional planning activities.

Contribute to institutional events such as exhibitions, open houses, admission processes, and orientation programs.
