About the internship
Studio Non Sequitur is looking to hire an all-around assistant design intern/apprentice/trainee for a 3 month successful and paid trainee period/apprenticeship.
You will be joining a unique design studio and workshop with both embroidery and fine dressmaking in-house and will be taught all there is to know about creating uniquely embellished western wear high-end fashion collections, both bridal and resort/couture.

Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 10th Dec'20 and 14th Jan'21
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Must speak fluent English and Hindi
2. Must have 'Astute' logical abilities
3. Must be good at flat sketches/illustrations.
4. Must be genuinely interested in the craftsmanship of 'Behind the Scenes' of high-end fashion
5. Must have a keen eye for detail: color, texture, curves, etc.
6. Must be punctual and reliable
7. Must be talented/skilled in at least one of the following programs: Illustrator & CorelDRAW & Adobe Photoshop

Non Sequitur builds an aesthetic universe of sartorial props for consciously curated wardrobes. Graceful fits, innovative cuts and minute pattern details playfully merge with luscious fabrics and quaint embellishments. Signature pattern-making, based on the natural grace of the body, is at the heart of the design process. Each piece is lovingly created in the spirit of fine dressmaking.
The studio is owned and managed by Tushar Bhartiya. He is an experienced pattern maker and fashion designer from NIFT, New Delhi who graduated in 2001 and was awarded 'Star Alumni' in 2004. His graduating collection won both the NIFT and the Ritu Kumar award for 'Best Design Collection'. In 2003, he received the 'Cotton Creativity Award'- at the Mittlemoda International Fashion Design contest' in Italy.
