Fashion Designer
Job Description
- Collaborate with designers and AI engineers to co-create fashion concepts using AI tools (e.g., DALL·E, Midjourney, Runway, Sora, CLO 3D)
- Assist in developing mood boards and design briefs enhanced with AI-generated insights
- Use data and machine learning outputs to create innovative apparel sketches and prototypes
- Produce sketches (by hand or using software like Adobe Illustrator)
- Research current fashion trends, materials, and AI applications in fashion
- Participate in digital garment creation, virtual try-ons, and 3D rendering
- Experiment with generative design tools and contribute to prompt engineering for visual AI tools
- Support the integration of AI in the creative and production workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Assistance:

Assist senior designers in creating sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards for upcoming collections.

Support the development of design concepts based on current fashion trends, customer preferences, and brand guidelines.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for fabric choices, colors, and patterns.
2. Fabric and Material Research:

Help research and source fabrics, trims, and other materials needed for design samples.

Assist in maintaining a library of fabrics, swatches, and accessories.

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to gather information about new materials and technologies.
3. Sample Development Support:

Work with the production team to assist in sample making, including pattern making, draping, and garment fitting.

Attend fittings and provide feedback to ensure designs meet quality and fit standards.

Assist in documenting sample details and revisions.
4. Trend Analysis and Market Research:

Monitor fashion industry trends through magazines, online platforms, and trade shows.

Assist in compiling trend reports and forecasts for the design team.

Help analyze competitor products and customer feedback to inform design decisions.
5. Administrative and Organizational Tasks:

Maintain organized files of sketches, designs, and technical specifications.

Support the design team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and coordinating sample deliveries.

Assist in preparing presentations and portfolios for internal review and client meetings.
