Designation - Technician - Prosthetic and Orthotic
Number of Job Vacancies - 1
Essential Qualification
- Diploma in Prosthetic and Orthotic Engineering (2½ years Duration) and approved by RCI and MCI OR
- Graduate or 10+2 pass with Certificate course in Surgical Shoe Maker with a minimum of 6 months duration from a reputed organization approved by Govt. of India. OR One year certificate course in Prosthetics and Orthotics from any recognized school preferably approved by RCI and MCI
EXPERIENCE
- 3 years relevant working experience in Prosthetics and Orthotics or Hospital for certificate candidate
Desirable skills:
- Relevant working experience in a Multiple Disability Rehabilitation Institute.
- Technical skills to work with the complex tools, materials and machines used to create devices and appliances.
- Communication skills to work with designers and other members of a team working on a medical device or appliance
- Analytical skills to translate designs and instructions into medical devices.
Remuneration
- Monthly Gross – Rs. 35000/-
Age limit
- The age of the candidates should be a maximum of 43 years.

Selection Process
- The selection process goes through a Written Examination, Computer Proficiency Test, and Interview.

- The above post will be on long term contract basis (05 years contract). The contract would be extendable based on the requirement of FDDI and performance of the individual, at the discretion of Management
- FDDI will not be responsible for any postal delay/wrong delivery/non-delivery of communication at any stage of the recruitment process.
- Minimum qualifications mentioned shall be from a recognized University /Institution.
- /Mere conformity to the job requirements will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. - No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates who are not short-listed.
- The recruitment will be done through interview.

- Applicants who are working in Government Organisations / PSU must submit NOC from their current employer.
- No Transport Allowance / Daily Allowance shall be paid for attending the interview/Skill Test.
