Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Assistance & Sales:

Greet and assist walk-in customers at the counter.

Understand customer needs and suggest suitable products or services.

Provide product details, availability, and pricing information.
2. Billing & Cashiering:

Generate invoices and process payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or UPI.

Ensure accurate billing and manage the cash register responsibly.

Maintain daily sales records and balance the register at the end of the shift.
3. Product Display & Stock Management:
-
Arrange products neatly at the counter and ensure attractive displays.

Check stock levels at the counter and coordinate with the store team for replenishment.

Report damaged or expired goods if applicable.
4. Customer Service:

Handle customer complaints and queries politely and efficiently.

Provide after-sales service support like issuing receipts, handling returns, or exchanges (as per store policy).

Ensure customer satisfaction through friendly interaction and service.
5. Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Keep the counter area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Follow hygiene and safety protocols, especially in retail food, pharmacy, or fashion environments.
