Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Massage Therapy Services

Provide high-quality massage services using techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, aromatherapy, reflexology, head & shoulder massage, prenatal, or sports massage depending on the client’s needs and preferences.

Assess client needs, identify problem areas or areas of tension, and recommend suitable massage techniques.

Customize each session according to individual preferences, medical history, or physical conditions while maintaining professional boundaries.
2. Client Consultation and Safety
-
Conduct pre-session consultations to understand client concerns, pain points, or desired outcomes.

Obtain and maintain updated client intake forms and consent before starting therapy.

Ensure safety and hygiene protocols are followed at all times before, during, and after each session.

Educate clients on aftercare, stretching techniques, or lifestyle tips to improve results and encourage repeat visits.
3. Hygiene and Cleanliness
-
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, massage tables, linens, towels, and equipment.

Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation guidelines as per company policy and health regulations.

Ensure proper disinfection of surfaces, tools, and commonly touched areas after each session.
4. Product Knowledge and Usage

Use approved oils, creams, lotions, and aromatherapy products that are suitable for different skin types.

Educate clients on the benefits of various massage products, packages, or wellness programs offered.

Keep massage supplies well-stocked and inform the manager about reordering requirements.
5. Customer Service and Professionalism

Greet clients warmly, make them feel comfortable, and maintain a respectful and relaxing environment.

Handle client feedback, preferences, and complaints with sensitivity and professionalism.

Uphold ethical standards, privacy, and client confidentiality at all times.

Encourage client retention by building rapport and recommending suitable services or membership packages.
6. Administrative Support and Recordkeeping

Maintain accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and visit history.

Assist in scheduling appointments, handling walk-ins, and supporting front-desk staff when required.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Help promote spa services through in-house marketing or during wellness events.
