Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a confident, presentable, and creative female staff member to join our kidswear shop as a Sales & E-Commerce Assistant. This dual-role position involves photographing kidswear products, posting them on various online platforms, and assisting walk-in female customers in the store. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about fashion and children’s clothing, have a keen eye for presentation, and possess excellent communication skills.
This role requires a combination of digital skills, customer service experience, and a pleasant personality. The successful candidate will play a key role in both promoting products online and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers visiting the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Photography & Content Creation

Take Clear Photos: Capture high-quality images of kidswear products using a smartphone or digital camera in-store.

Styling Products: Neatly arrange and style clothing and accessories for photographs to make them visually appealing.

Lighting & Backgrounds: Ensure proper lighting, clean backgrounds, and a consistent look in all product photos.

Photo Editing (Basic): Use basic editing apps or tools to enhance images—adjust brightness, crop, and remove minor blemishes.
2. Online Posting & Digital Marketing

Platform Posting: Post product photos and descriptions on various online platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and online marketplaces (e.g., Meesho, Flipkart, or local platforms).

Write Descriptions: Create short, appealing, and accurate captions for each product, mentioning size, color, material, and price.

Social Media Management: Maintain an active presence on the shop’s social media accounts, respond to messages, and post updates regularly.

Customer Engagement Online: Answer queries received via DM, WhatsApp, or comments, and provide product details and availability.

Stock Updates: Update or remove listings when products are sold out to avoid confusion.
3. In-Store Customer Service

Greet Walk-in Customers: Welcome all walk-in customers, especially female shoppers, in a friendly and professional manner.

Product Assistance: Help customers find the right products based on their needs, preferences, or size requirements.

Showcase Products: Present products neatly and offer suggestions or recommendations to assist customers with their purchase decisions.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that the display racks, shelves, and trial rooms are always tidy and well-organized.

Sales Support: Assist with billing, packaging, and handling customer queries at the cash counter (if required).

Handle Complaints/Returns: Politely handle any concerns or returns, following the shop's policy and maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Gender Requirement: Female candidates only (as the role involves assisting female customers).

Education: Minimum 10th or 12th standard; a diploma or degree in fashion, communication, or digital marketing is a plus.

Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or social media handling is preferred but not mandatory.

Photography Skills: Basic photography skills using a mobile phone or camera are required.

Social Media Knowledge: Familiar with posting content on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and basic online selling platforms.

Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of smartphones, WhatsApp Web, Excel, and Google Drive is helpful.
