Job Overview

We are looking for a Fiber Field Executive to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in fiber optics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in outdoor field environments. This role requires coordinating with teams, ensuring quality fiber connectivity, and resolving network issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fiber Installation & Maintenance

Conduct fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and testing.
Perform on-site surveys to assess fiber feasibility and route planning.
Ensure proper cable routing, termination, and splicing as per industry standards.

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs

Diagnose and repair fiber optic network issues in case of downtime.
Use OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer), power meters, and splicing tools for troubleshooting.
Respond to network faults and outages quickly to minimize service disruptions.

3. Coordination & Team Management

Work closely with network engineers, field technicians, and vendors.
Coordinate with local authorities and contractors for fiber deployment approvals.
Maintain safety standards and follow company policies during fieldwork.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily reports of fiber installations, faults, and repairs.
Update network diagrams and keep records of cable routes, splicing points, and network changes.
Provide weekly/monthly progress reports to the management team.
