Job Description
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary positions in the following projects of Dr. Naveen C. Bisht, Scientist, NIPGR.
1) DBT Multi-Institutional project entitled "Nutritional improvement of Indian Oilseed Mustard using CRISPR-Cas9 mediated genome editing".
Field Assistant/Laboratory Assistant (One post): Consolidated Emoluments 18000/- per month.
Qualification: Candidates having Graduate Degree or 4-years’ experience are eligible to apply. The candidate having working experience in field related work including growing and maintaining crop plants and experience in research laboratory, working with Brassica and Arabidopsis will be given preference. The candidate should have good knowledge of computers and typing in English for recording of field data on day-to day basis.
2) DBT project entitled “Biofortification of branched chain amino acid-leucine in Brassica crops using CRISPR-Cas9 mediated genome editing”.
Field Assistant (One post): Consolidated Emoluments 15000/- per month.
Qualification: Candidates having B.Sc. or 3-years diploma in Engineering and Technology are eligible to apply. The candidate having at least one year of working experience in field related work including growing and maintaining crop plants will be preferred. Candidate with prior experience in research laboratory and working with Brassica and Arabidopsis, will be given preference. The candidate should have good knowledge of computers and typing in English for recording of field data on day-to day basis.
