Qualification : M.Sc. (Agriculture) / M.Sc. (Horticulture) in Agriculture Extension / Horticulture

Desirable: 2 Years field experience, scientific knowledge of cultivation of vegetables, Knowledge of Kannada language, basic knowledge of computer operations (Data entry, MS world / Power Point / Excel ect.)

Fellowship/ Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- PM + HRA

Project/Scheme Name : ICAR-Extramural Project entitled – “Mapping Fungicide resistance in oomycetes& powdery mildews using allele specify markers & evaluations of resistances management methods

Qualification : Mastersdegree in (plant pathology/ Microbiology/Biotechnol ogy) with 4 years/ 5years of Bachelor’s degree. OR Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree & 2years Master’s degree should have NET or equivalent. OR Qualification as prescribed ICAR for SRF position. The masters degree holders with integrated degrees like B.Tech. & M. Tech(5 years) are also eligible.

Desirable: (i) Experience in handling fungal pathogens (ii) Work experience in fungicide resistance (iii) Skill in molecular works (Protein, DNA, RNA). (iv) Skill in use of computer tools.
